The American Gourmet
American Gourmet is a family-owned restaurant and caterer with deep roots in Jupiter Tequesta, serving the community in the same location since 1986. Our staff is experienced, and our chef is top-notch, ensuring every dish is delicious and beautifully presented, whether it’s a dinner, appetizers, fruit and cheese trays, gift gourmet baskets, or catering for events. In our takeout section, we offer 2 or 3 high-quality dinner options daily.
About Chef Tania. Besides her early desire to be a great chef, Tania received on-the-job training at the American Gourmet from one instructor and three graduates educated at the Culinary Institute of America (CIA) in Hyde Park New York. This occurred during the first 8 years of our ownership of the restaurant. During these early years, she also gained additional on-the-job experience working summer months at the prestigious Atlantic Beach Club on Long Island. Since this initial on-the-job training and with additional training she has only perfected her creative abilities to cook exquisite meals.
If you’re hosting a party, we’ve got you covered with complete catering services for up to 100 people. Our clientele ranges from local residents to celebrities, and we cater events from surprise birthday parties to art gallery openings, serving areas from Palm Beach to Jupiter Island.
We take pride in using the best ingredients for our products. Our hors d’oeuvres are all handmade, not store-bought, and our desserts and bakery items are homemade and absolutely delicious. Whether you’re dining in, taking out, or planning an event, American Gourmet ensures you get the finest food experience every time.
